Evaluasi Pengawasan Pinjaman Modal Kerja Guna Menekan Terjadinya Penunggakan Pinjaman (Studi pada Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Adi Wiyata Mandiri Kabupaten Blitar Tahun 2011-2013)

Adi Wiyata Mandiri is an institution that provides loan and saving services to local community in Blitar Regency, East Java Province. Up to 2013, the company has provided total more than 4 billion rupiahs in terms of all types of working capital loans to the members.The purpose of this research is to describe the efforts of the company to maintain the stability of the non-performing loans level. Using descriptive approach to the case, this study focuses on evaluating the procedures of controlling the credits and the amounts of non-performing loans in the company during 2011-2013 periods. This current study reveals that although the company provides such a big number of credits, it has an ability to maintain the level of non-performing loans below 10%, that is the appropriate level as suggested by the Ministry of Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises. However, the levels of non-performing loans especially for the seasonal loans are still approaching or even beyond the statutes. In 2011, the non-performing loan was 6.178%. The percentage increased up to 15.129% in 2012, and reached 9.27% in 2013.
